Seamless gutters and other accessories are available in matching colors to provide your home or business with a unified look. In addition, your steel roof is eco-friendly, reducing energy costs by up to 25 percent while being made of up to 89.7 percent recycled materials, and is 100 percent recyclable.

Hidden VS Exposed Fasteners

For a sleek, finished look, each piece of steel roofing is rollformed with the end result in mind. The female rib is snapped over male rib of adjacent piece locking together creating a vertical ͞standing͟ seam. The fasteners are covered by the adjoining piece to create a watertight solid seal. There are no ugly exposed fasteners that rust and leak compared to agricultural steel. This method extends the life of the steel roof, keeping the screws from being exposed, while keeping the roof from looking too industrial.

Frequently Asked Questions

o What is the cost of putting a steel roof on my home?

The cost of a metal roof is not much more than an asphalt shingle roof would cost. However, the real cost comes about during the installation process, as it takes three times longer than asphalt installations. Installation cost depends on the complexity and pitch of roof.

o Can I install over asphalt shingles?

Yes, as long as local building codes are followed. However, the preferred method is to remove shingles and start with a flat surface so as not to experience oil canning (apparent waviness) and for impact strength. In addition, old shingles retain moisture which can get trapped between the steel, causing condensation.

o Can I install myself (homeowner)?

No, we do not sell directly to homeowners. Installation is detail o

riented and we  only work with experienced contractors.

o Can I use my existing gutter?

Yes. The gutter will need to be temporarily removed for installation of your new steel roof, but can be re-used as long as you use the proper fascia brackets. We do offer matching gutter, fascia and downspouts in the same colors as the roof.

o How do you stop snow and ice from sliding off?

We offer a 10-foot snow guard which stops the snow from falling all at once, potentially causing physical injury or property damage. This allows the snow to melt slowly on your roof.
