Please review the information below for details in attending the Barcelona Project 2017. For any additional questions and information contact us.
Air Travel:
You are required to buy your airfare and to arrive prior to the dates of the program. You may stay longer in Spain to extend your travels and would be responsible past the course completion.
Accommodations:
DIBCN does not provide hotel accommodations in its fee. We are happy to provide a list of hotel locations that are convenient to the classes and events. Lunches and coffee breaks are provided at select class times – see course schedule. All other meals are by participants.
Orientation:
Online Pre-Departure
You'll begin your study abroad experience in Barcelona even before leaving home by participating in a DIBCN online pre-departure orientation. The director corresponds with you online and shares information about the program - giving you time to ask questions. This online orientation allows you as well to get acquainted with others in the class.
Design Institute Barcelona reserves the right to cancel course if less than 10 attendees register before deadline.
Arrival Orientation
Prior to your departure, we will assist in arranging secure, safe transportation to meet you at airport and escort you from the Barcelona airport to your local residence. Attendees should arrive at least one day prior to the program start date listed above.
After your arrival, we will conduct an orientation session to introduce you to the city, culture, and the schedule. As well, you will be provided practical information about medical care, safety, banking, and transportation. Ongoing support is provided by local, English fluent staff should you need any additional help.
