About Dr. Jose Cuevas and Dr. Jesus Cuevas

Drs. Jesus and Jose Cuevas are Board Certified Optometric Physicians. They received their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida where they were active members of the Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society, as well as the Alpha Zeta honor fraternity.

While at the University of Florida, they worked as student interns at Shands Hospital and the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL where they initially became interested in eye care.

Drs. Jesus and Jose then went on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where they received their Doctor of Optometry degree. While completing their externship rotations, they had the opportunity to rotate through primary care, emergency and ocular disease facilities including The Eye Institute-Philadelphia, the Albert Einstein Hospital Eye Clinic-Philadelphia, and the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston, FL.

Both doctors have been practicing full-scope optometry in South Florida since 2005. They have the knowledge, training, and experience to diagnose and treat primary eye care conditions and ocular diseases. In addition, both are affiliate doctors to The Laser Center in Coral Gables, FL.

Drs. Jesus and Jose truly love what they do and they pride themselves on providing quality and personalized eye care while using the latest state of the art technology to better serve their patients.
