ABOUT
After thirty-eight years in the truck, fleet management, and repair business, you sometimes get a chance to stand back and observe changes that have taken place as a result of your influence and management. These observations will vary, from visual improvements when looking at a facility, observing clean, well-maintained trucks entering or leaving a yard, when interacting with or mentoring associates, or when reviewing positive results on your financial statement.
I have had that chance. However, it came after dedicating various amounts of time to difficult challenges, tolerating patience, having perseverance, dealing with frustration, and faced with disappointments, but achieving desired goals.
The rewards of these challenges can be extremely satisfying.
However, the greatest reward that I have realized throughout my career is passing along what I have learned to people with the will to succeed, a strong desire to do things right, a winning attitude, and then watching them perform.
Insight Fleet Management, Inc. was born from how I was raised by a very disciplined Father, intense “coaching” from several very determined and impatient Drill Instructors at Parris Island, SC, and some great mentors who took interest in me, to help me succeed.
The rest was all up to me!
“To be a winner, you have to surround yourself with winners”!
Insight Fleet Management, Inc. is here to be your transportation partner, mentor your people, and establish good habits and best practices for your associates’ daily routine. With all of the basic policies and procedures put in place, having the right tools available for the job, then practiced by a well-disciplined Team, all goals can be met.
Whether it is the need for a PM Program, managing catastrophic failures, record keeping, daily routine and planning, vendor management, productivity, fleet specs vs application, environmental policy and procedure issues, shop safety, driver education, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, remarketing used equipment, or routine interaction with internal and external customers, we can make solid, industry standard recommendations to you.
Let our Insight Fleet Management, Inc. consulting Team be your Transportation Partner!
