The most exciting thing in the aesthetic industry lately is definitely Kybella. This was initially used only under the chin but now we are using it all over the face and body. This patient asked me to fill around her fallen fat pad.  I suggested permanently getting rid of the fat pad and then finessing with a much smaller amount of filler. This result was achieved with 1 Kybella, 1 Volbella, and 2 separate appointments.   Kybella does cause swelling, that is part of how it works. Since the swelling mimics that you would expect to see with dental procedures, a lot of my patients use dental work as their excuse for the swelling!
