VLAD’WAR’S ANVIL
When fathers fall into darkness,
sons must find the light.
Twenty long winters have passed since the Battle of the Temple of the Oak Tree was fought, and the threat of war between the Nyeg and the Ar looms ever larger as powerful magic inextricably pulls the two warls back together.
With Nyeg Warl’s rulers emboldened to believe they could defeat the foul sorcerer who rules over Ar Warl with the Prophetess and the Hammer Bearer on their side, the kings are dismayed to learn that Jeaf Oakenfel and the Hammer of Power have been unexpectedly drawn into the Ar’s encompassing darkness and tragically lost. With the inimitable talisman snatched out of its arsenal of weapons, the Nyeg’s prospects for victory quickly fades even though the Prophetess is there to help.
As it turns out, the Prophetess and the Hammer Bearer are not the only ones in their family who possess powers. They have birthed four sons who have preternatural abilities as yet unrefined and largely undefined. Young men all, prophecy sends the brothers on a quest to unravel the mystery surrounding their father's disappearance, a quest whose success depends on them gaining control of the latent magic they possess.
Risking their lives, the siblings slip into Ar Warl to face the Sorcerer and the host of dark wizards and evil spirits he commands. Unless they discover their father's whereabouts and reunite him with the Prophetess, the outcome of the impending war will be set in stone, a stone that will be used to crush Nyeg Warl beneath its ponderous weight.”
