The main structure of the device is composed of textiles which represent a good solution in terms of fit, comfort, reduction of pressure points and chafing, thus making the overall system easy to wear.
Portable Limb Cooling Device
Our portable limb cooling device is designed to deliver long term localized/regional hypothermia to reduce/eliminate limb necrosis in the context of limb ischemia due to tourniquet use. Our device utilized a non-battery powered cooling mechanism and ultra-lightweight textile design with the ability to reduce deep tissue temperatures within hostile environmental conditions.
