A DESTINATION AND ENRICHMENT SPEAKER
My destination talks are centered around stories. I begin each presentation with, “I tell stories. I tell history stories.” Picking out great figures in history like Peter the Great, Catherine the Great, General George Patton, Picasso, Alfred Nobel, and Charles Darwin, I pair their biographies with highlights of the ports and countries we are visiting.
My enrichment talks are centered around film history. A film buff since childhood, I love the movies and love sharing film clip highlights of the great films and stars of the past (“when movies were movies”). My take on the current crop of films and stars: “Give them 30 or 40 years and see if we are still talking about them.”
