The practice of MENDEZ MEDICAL CENTER is proud of being a local Family medicine practice that caters to members of the surrounding community. Our providers and staff enjoy knowing their patients by name. They want to address the needs of every person who walks through the door and to be able to meet them.
We focus on adult medicine for patients from the age of twelve (12) and older, and specialized care for the elderly.
Our practice takes pride in offering high-quality, compassionate, and culturally responsive medical care. Our providers and staff can communicate with our patients in various languages, such as English, Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, Filipino, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese and Italian.
Our physicians hold board certifications in Family Medicine, while the mid-level practitioners maintain certifications with their respective boards.
OUR HISTORY
MENDEZ MEDICAL CENTER is a family medicine practice that opened in 2007 under the direction and passion of Dr. Oscar Mendez. He began attracting a loyal patient base from Lauderdale Lakes and the surrounding areas, which continues until today.
From humble beginnings as a sole practitioner, MENDEZ MEDICAL CENTER has developed into a dedicated group of providers and staff with a sole purpose: giving acute, chronic, and preventative medicine care combined with quality and comprehensive services to the patients.

Our main objective at MENDEZ MEDICAL CENTER is to provide personalized and detailed primary care to our patients. The attention to detail starts with our friendly and kind staff, and ends with our providers practicing good medicine.

VISION
Primary care is at the heart of everything we do at MENDEZ MEDICAL CENTER. We are interested in understanding our patients' needs, to work together and focus on their medical treatment plan, educate them about their general well-being and promote preventative care. We will assist our patients in the self-management and control over their chronic diseases instead of the disease controlling them.
