Making Someone's Someday, Today

Board Of Director's

Dave Boekholder, President

Dave Boekholder is currently the President as well as co-founder of the Someday Foundation and has been since our inception in 2007. Dave has been in the sales profession since 1991 and currently serves as Vice President of Sales for Spireon, the largest provider of telematic solutions in the M2M space.
Dave first became involved with the Someday Foundation when co-founder Aaron Huberty suggested they do something to help ease the burden of medical expenses after having to deal with this first hand. As Aaron and Dave discussed different ways to support people, they landed on the idea of a golf outing to support people.
“The first one in 2002 was really a humble beginning. We lined up 20 people and picked what had to be the hottest day of the year, but we managed to raise about $500 and the Someday Foundation was off and running.” I never thought it would grow into what we are today”, stated Dave, reflecting on our grass roots efforts to get started. Since that time the organization has continued their annual golf outing and has also added a wintertime bowling event.
Dave is driven by the fact that so many in our communities are impacted with these hardships, but so many more are willing to step up and help others in their time of need. A simple donation to participating in our events is what makes the Someday Foundation great.
Dave and his wife Amy have 3 sons and resides in Dyersville, IA, where they all play an active role in supporting the Someday Foundation’s efforts. In his spare time Dave can be found supporting his children’s sporting events or in Iowa City cheering on the Hawkeyes.

Aaron Huberty, Vice President

Aaron Huberty is currently the Vice President for the Someday Foundation and is one of its co-founders.  Aaron has over 20 years of financial services and is currently responsible for National Digital Channel & Partnerships for Wells Fargo Bank’s Business Real Estate Financing, one of the nation’s largest providers of commercial real estate loans to small businesses.

What started as a simple idea of helping a few people struggling with medical and financial issues by providing financial assistance has grown into something much greater, in large part due to the drive and determination of Aaron to help others.  In Aaron’s words:

“It’s an honor to join all the Someday Foundation Board Members who serve underprivileged families and individuals!  I enjoy working on a team and building new relationships – so the foundation was a natural fit.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would inspire this many volunteers, raise this much money, and help so many people!”

Aaron is married to Amy and has two sons, and resides in Ankeny, IA.

Margy Hellenbrand, Secretary

Margy Hellenbrand is currently the Secretary for the Someday Foundation and has been since our inception in 2007. Margy has been an Administrative Professional for over 30 years, specializing in corporate project management and legal administration and currently serves as an Executive Assistant/Team Leader at Springs Window Fashions in Middleton, WI.
Margy first became involved in the Someday Foundation to pay homage to her father who lost his battle with cancer in 1999. This has transcended into a passion to assist others who need help in their greatest time of need – either while enduring an illness personally or watching a loved one go through what can only be described as a heartbreaking experience. Knowing firsthand the struggles people can face in these situations is a huge motivator while she stays involved. When asked what drives her to be part of this organization, she has the following to say:
“It is difficult situation that the people we assist face. but what motivates me is the happiness we bring and the fact we have, in a small way, eased their burden. This is what drives me to continue to be a positive influence for others when they feel they have nowhere else to go.”

When she is not working on Someday Foundation activities, she can be found cheering on her favorite sports teams and spending time with her family. Margy is married to Nick and has 3 children and currently resides in Pine Bluff, WI.
