This has been a lifelong dream and I too received negative feedback. Friends would say “no one will want to talk to you” or “that's a dumb idea”, etc. You have all been there I am sure! How many of you have had thoughts, dreams or an idea and mention it to a friend who shot you down for them? It makes us feel awful! I have always been of the mindset that "Nothing ventured, nothing gained". I have started five companies from scratch and am so glad that I pursued them all and doing so by not listening to negative people.

I learned so much from each of them and it has brought me to where I am today. I have always drawn people to me for some reason that wanted someone to listen, someone to say something to brighten their day, say something that made them think about a situation differently or just to listen. Sometimes people just need to talk and don't need you to fix it, comment about it or dismiss what they are saying, they just want you to listen. That is what this site is about!
