In order to determine your child's current level of functioning and needs, the BCBA will come to your home to observe your child and conduct an assessment, such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, or EFL. A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) may also be conducted to determine the function of any problem behaviors. Once the assessment is completed, an individualized treatment plan with be created for your child.

Direct 1 to 1 Therapy

Sessions will take place at your home, as well as any community locations which are desired. The ABA therapist working with your child will receive close supervision and training from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Parent/Family Training

In addition to direct therapy, a BCBA will provide training to you on the principles of ABA. You will learn strategies to help decrease problem behaviors while increasing skills and appropriate behaviors.
