Cabinetry can be designed three different ways, in set or stock sizes, semi-custom and custom.
Set-sizes or stock cabinets can be mass produced or made to order. These cabinets have standard sizes and styles that can be ordered by catalog. Some companies mass produce cabinets and then grab them off the shelf, cutting out any lead time. Other stock cabinets are made to order, which means there are only certain cabinets available but each project is made at the same time to limit color variance and increase quality.
Semi-custom cabinetry offers a range of styles, formats and sizes. This gives the consumer a lot more control in design of the product, but increases cost and lead-time.
Custom cabinetry is the most expensive and time-intensive of all cabinetry types but it gives you complete control over the final product. With no color or size limitations you can create any design for your kitchen.
Advantages of Custom Cabinets
Cabinets are an essential part of any home. Whenever you build new or remodel an old kitchen or bathroom, you’re looking at purchasing new spaces to house the many items, which will be stored in those rooms. There are many ready-made options available, but if you’re looking for specific shapes and sizes that will fit your unique items, you’ll probably want to look into purchasing custom made options designed specifically for you! While these custom storage spaces can be more expensive, they do give you the perfect amount of room to store your stuff.
Many Storage Space Options:
Custom designed cabinets can be designed to fit your unique items. As you design a new kitchen, you’ll be thinking about where to keep your mixer and mixing bowls, dishes, waffle maker, griddle, pots, pans, silverware, serving and cooking utensils, and the many other items that are stored and used daily in your kitchen. You can even add some extra storage for your kids’ art supplies or for seasonal baking items that need only make their appearance once or twice a year.
Do you like to store extra toiletries, cleaning supplies and towels in your bathroom? It’s nice to have those things stored away and out of site in custom spaces with doors! Once again, custom sizes can be used which offer convenient storage space in your bathroom.
A Variety of Design Options:
You want your kitchen storage area to match your personality and decorative style. With custom cabinets you can chose the type of material used, the stain color, and the installation method. The standard material is stained or painted wood, but you could also use steel or plastic if you wish.
As you design your kitchen layout, custom storage fits itself around your appliances without the hassle of trying to find items that will fit exactly between your dishwasher and the refrigerator!
Customized Add-On Options:
Perhaps you’d like to store your small microwave on a shelf underneath one of the storage spaces instead of installing it into the wall or setting it on the counter. A custom shelf can be designed to fit your unique microwave dimensions. You may enjoy displaying some of your good dishes by using see-through glass doors instead of wooden doors, which hide the storage space.
There are many customized add-on options that can be included in your new custom designed kitchen area. Whether you want to take advantage of options to display decorative items or you simply want customized functional solutions, you’ll enjoy browsing the customized options you can choose.
Long Term Warranty:
Custom cabinets are durable and designed to last a long time. They come with a warranty period, which allows us to fix any issues that may come up during the warranty time. When a repair is covered under warranty, it’s at no cost to you.
When you’re remodeling your kitchen or building a new home, you’ll enjoy choosing custom cabinets, which are sure to meet your needs and fit well into any kitchen shape. Have fun choosing various sizes and shapes, which are uniquely designed to fit your kitchen items!
