God's Heavenly Call
The call to seek the Lord
“ But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul….
( Deuteronomy 4:29)
“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you….. ( 1 Chronicles 28:9)
“The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God….(Psalms 14:2)
“The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing…..(Psalms 34:10)
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near…(Isaiah 55:6)
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart….. (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Heavenly Father thank you that you have allowed me to live on this earth all these years, even when I have not sought you as you want everyone who lives to. I can see now through your word that You desire fellowship with me and if I seek you with my whole heart, through faith in Your Son Jesus Christ, then I will find you. Help me to recognize the call of Your still small voice in my heart and grant me the strength to answer your call to me.

The call to Trust the Lord
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him….(2 Samuel 22:31)
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the LORD…..(Psalms 4:5)
The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned… (Psalms 34:22)
Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness..(Psalms 37:3)
Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass..(Psalms 37:5)
You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield…(Psalms 115:11)
It is better to trust in the LORD, Than to put confidence in man….(Psalms 118:8)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths… (Proverbs 3:5-6)
The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.
(Nahum 1:7)
To call upon the Lord
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.(Psalms 18:3)
I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD….(Psalms 116:13)
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth…(Psalms 145:18)
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near…(Isaiah 55:6)
“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.…( Isaiah 45:22)
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” ( Romans 10:12-13 )
And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’….(Acts 22:16)
To follow the Lord
And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. (1 Kings 18:21)
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor….(Jesus said in John 12:26)
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? …(.Matthew 16:24-26)
And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me..(Matthew 10:38)
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.” (John 10:27-30)
