Our Physical Therapy department is dedicated to provide the highest quality care. We are passionate about our profession and our primary focus is our patients’ complete return to activities of daily living functions.

Work/Injury Rehabilitation

Our skilled and experienced physical therapists work with patients to create programs that allow patients to return to work. We partner with employers, nurse case managers, and referring physicians to offer a comprehensive work injury rehabilitation program. We provide post offer lifting tests or physical performance evaluation test (PPE), work conditioning programs, ergonomic modifications, and simulated job functions.

FAQ's

What should I bring to my first physical therapy visit?

You should bring a prescription or order for physical therapy from your doctor, ant diagnostic test results i.e. X-rays, the MRI or CT scan report (if applicable), your picture ID and insurance card(s). Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time to complete the necessary paperwork and consents.

What should I expect during my first physical therapy visit?What should I bring to my first physical therapy visit?

On your first visit, our licensed physical therapist will do an evaluation. This is a thorough assessment of overall posture, range of motion, strength, flexibility, and mobility. After the evaluation, your therapist will discuss their findings with you and then develop a rehabilitation program to help attain the goals you will set together to get back to optimal function. This program is to facilitate improvement we use manual therapy, exercises, and modalities when necessary. We also encourage patients to utilize our home exercise program as we focus on patient education and help our patients towards being independent.

Do you see work related injuries?

Yes. Treating work related injuries is one our specialties.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

You should wear comfortable clothing and shoes. If we are treating an extremity we will need to expose the area. For neck and back injuries we will also need to expose the area for evaluation and treatment procedures. We do provide gowns and private changing areas.

What are my payment options?

In most cases, we will bill your insurance company for your treatments. If a deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance applies we collect those at the time of service. We also treat personal injury patients on liens with their attorneys. We also have affordable cash pay programs and we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.

Manual Treatment

Our skilled physical therapists use clinical based treatment approach to treating spinal and other musculoskeletal conditions using primary self-treatment guidelines. In addition to self-care our skilled physical therapists use manual treatment techniques to facilitate rehabilitation to quickly return patients to complete independence and activities of daily living.

Insurance

Crosslinks Physical Therapy is a member of many preferred provider networks in the state of Georgia. Our services are covered by most major insurance companies as well as Medicare, Workers’ Compensation, and several private health plans. If we are contracted with your insurance plan, we will bill your insurance company, company administrator or attorney (when applicable) for your services. The amount your plan will pay is based on your plan benefits. You may wish to contact your administrator for coverage information before receiving service. Certain managed care plans will require an authorization from your primary care physician (PCP). For your convenience, we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also offer affordable cash rates for self-paying patients.
